General booking terms and conditions – Privacy policy


EGYPT Booking terms & conditions

The purpose of this document is to regulate the GENERAL TERMS AND/OR CONDITIONS of on-line Reservation of 1.Step Utazásszervező Kft., a Hungarian limited company existing in accordance with the laws of Hungary, and registered at Budapest commercial registry under N° 01-09-673542. Having its head office at Budapest, under the address of H-1163 Budapest, Margit utca 45.
The terms “You” and “User” are used herein to refer to any individual and/or entity that for whatever reason accesses www.threecorners.com or www.threecorners.eu uses the services.
Use of this site is subject to the following terms and conditions. By using the site you agree to accept these terms and conditions. We may change or amend these terms and conditions from time to time and the issue date will appear at the start of this page.
Rates: all rates are in EURO currency and include all estimated government taxes and fees:
Service Charge: 12.0 Percent Per Room / Per Night
Room Sales Tax: 10.0 Percent Per Room / Per Night
City Tax: 2.0 Percent Per Room / Per Night
In case of changes in these taxes and fees, implemented after booking will affect total room price.
The Check-in time in the room is from 14.00 P.M. and the Check out time from the room is by maximum 12.00 midday.
Children Policy:
Children policy may vary in each hotel, plse check these at each price information per hotel, before booking. Babies are free of charge between 0-1.99 years, joining parents room. During your reservation you should add the birth date of your children,for us to be able to calculate the exact cost.
Christmas & New-Year period:
On the night of Christmas (24/12) and the night of New-year 31/12) the Christmas & New-year Gala Dinner are obligatory. The children are getting a discount of 50% from adults for the obligatory Gala Dinners. These rates are to be added for your booking.
Changing or cancelling a reservation:
Should you wish to change or cancel an existing reservation, please contact with our reservation department through request@threecorners.com, mentioning the exact reservation number.
Cancellation and No-show policy:
Cancellations between 0-30 days before arrival are not accepted: cancellation fee is 100% of your stay. Cancellations over the 30 days of your arrival cost 50,- EURO/room.
Please be advised that during the refund payment the local banking fees will be paid by the principal, foreign bank costs will be charged to the beneficiary.
In case you purchased Life Happens cancellation protection for your reservation:
Adding Life Happens awards you with maximum flexibility. You are free to cancel your reservation any time, for any reason up to 24 hours before check-in date (local hotel time).
You will receive a refund within 14 days (from Life Happens) for 80% of the amount paid for your reservation excluding Life Happens fee.
Life Happens can be purchased only upon the reservation process.

Cancellation and No-show policy:
NON-REFUNDABLE ratetypes: Cancellations or no show are not accepted, cancellation fee is 100% of your stay. The totel price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking.
STANDARD ratetypes: In case of cancellation within 1/3 day(s) before arrival or no show, the cost of the first night of your stay will be charged as cancellation fee.
Please be advised that during the refund payment the local banking fees will be paid by the principal, foreign bank costs will be charged to the beneficiary.


Protection by The Three Corners of Users’ Personal Data

Users of the on-line Reservation services offered via www.threecorners.com and www.threecorners.eu are voluntarily providing data of a personal type (hereinafter Personal Data) and expressly and unconditionally agree in full to The Three Corners processing them automatically and including them in a file for the purpose of being able to offer and provide services. This file is the responsibility of The Three Corners and is registered with the competent authority.
Due to the characteristics of the The Three Corners activity and its services and in order for it to develop and meet its targets, it may be necessary for these personal data to be ceded to third parties, which may include international transfers. These personal data may be transferred to companies within the The Three Corners Group and/or to other interested parties.
The sole purpose of this transfer of personal data to these entities is the correct rendering of the services offered by The Three Corners.
Users making available their personal data have the right at all times to access the file and exercise their rights of rectification, cancellation and opposition in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in data protection legislation. Similarly, user’s consent to the processing and transfer of its personal data will be revocable at all times without retroactive effect. To this end, it will be sufficient for user to contact The Three Corners by sending an e-mail to info@threecorners.com or by writing to its registered office at The Three Corners Rihana Resort, El Gouna, Red Sea, Egypt. The Three Corners guarantees that it has adopted all appropriate security measures in its installations, systems and files. Furthermore, The Three Corners guarantees the confidentiality of Personal Data, although it may disclose to the competent authorities Personal Data as well as any other information that is in its possession or is accessible via its systems and is required by the applicable legal regulations in each case. Users of www.threecorners.com and www.threecorners.eu guarantee and are responsible, in all cases, for the truthfulness, accuracy, validity and authenticity of the Personal Data made available and undertake to keep them duly updated.
The Three Corners services are not for use by minors and The Three Corners neither requests nor collects information relating to minors.
The Three Corners may collect information through such devices as cookies or log files on the browsing habits of its www.threecorners.com and www.threecorners.eu users. These devices are associated exclusively with one user and its own personal computer. In these cases, The Three Corners will only use these data as a whole and with the ultimate aim of improving its services. It is possible that The Three Corners may share this information with client companies but always globally and solely for statistical purposes.


Force Majeure

‘Force Majeure’ means any circumstances which are unusual and/or unforeseeable and are beyond the control of the hotel, the consequence of which could not have been avoided even if all care due had been exercised, including (but not limited to) war or threat of war; riots; civil strife; hostilities; political unrest; government action; industrial dispute; natural or other disasters; nuclear incidents; terrorist activities; weather conditions; closure of airports; fire; flood; drought; re-scheduling or cancellation of flights or alteration of the aircraft type by an airline and technical problems with transportation that are outside our control.
Compensation will not be paid and there will be a new arrival date proposed on a later date.
In case you wish your amount to be refunded, we will refund the 50% of the total amount via bank transfer, as the situation in Egypt are circumstances beyond any ones control. Repayment can only be done one month before the arrival date. (ex. arrival is 30.03.11 – payment will be done 28.02.11)
The hotel will not be liable if either we or you are forced to cancel, delay, or curtail or in any way change your reservation as a result of  ‘force majeure’ as detailed above.

Any special needs must be notified in advance.
The Three Corners reserves the right, without notice, to amend the site including information regarding products and services and to withdraw or discontinue any product or service at any time.
This site may contain advertisements and sponsorship provided by third parties, who are responsible for that material. The Three Corners accepts no liability for third party material.
Hyperlinks are provided on this site to third party web sites for your convenience. The Three Corners accepts no liability for web sites accessed via those hyperlinks or any transactions completed on those sites.
Competitions, prize draws and promotions on this site are subject to the additional terms and conditions made available in connection with those activities, which apply in addition to these terms and conditions.
